The suitcases are out and half full. The passports, notarized permission slip from Clemmie's father to take her from the country and Euros are ready. The permission slip is really silly, we are married but because she isn't traveling with both of us, I have to carry a permission slip from him. He had to appear with us to get her passport as well.
Concert clothes and music are packed in the carry on backpack. This time we are flying carry on if at all possible. Last time we went to Europe, half the luggage went to Milan while the rest of us went to Naples, Italy. Apparently the luggage had a great time in Milan, it came finally caught up with us in Naples 3 days later with everything all rumpled thru. We learned then how few clothes we really do need. We do have an extra bar of Ivory soap to do hand wash in the sink! The temperature in Germany has been in the 60's, we're going to freeze while everyone at home is roasting!
