Clemmie performed in her school talent show a few weeks ago. She sang "The Girl in 14G" which was written for Kristen Chenoweth. It's a fun song, Clemmie really enjoys performing it. It has become her signature song and she has grown into the role. Clemmie is 15. She has been studying voice since the age of 9. She began voice lessons with Dixie Sellers. She also began acting in Lubbock Moonlight Musicals productions soon after that. Clemmie performed Amahl in "Amahl and the Night Visitors" with the San Antonio Opera in 2005. She has over 10 fully staged musicals, 3 operas, and 3 intensive summer workshops at Oklahoma City University to her credit. She has an extensive catalog of church solos and performs regularly. In May 2010, Clemmie sang as part of a chorale festival with other members of The Lubbock Chorale and the Texas Tech University Choir at Carnegie Hall. This summer, Clemmie will embark on a vocal tour of Germany with a portion of the Lubbock Chorale under the direction of Dr. John Hollins.

As her mom, I am head cheerleader, driver, banker and general dogsbody. My favorite phrase at home is "Would you please stop practicing, it's 11pm!"
Wow, Clemmie is outstanding!
